Eric Bledsoe, has given Phoenix Suns a good start to the season. He is the main reason for the surprising 3-2 record by Phoenix Suns. Bledsoe had been signed in an offseason deal. The 23-year-old point guard is a genuine star of basketball.
The former Clipper player seems to be just right for the Phoenix Suns and appears to fulfil what the team had lacked in recent years. He is mainly responsible for leading the team with 21.0 points, 7.2 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.
Bledsoe's performance has surprised everyone. He is playing for first time as an NBA player, in the position of focal point of a team's offense and also as full-time starter. The Suns has not signed the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Bledsoe for a long term contract. It is only for this season. However, Suns GM Ryan McDonough is confident that they can sign a long-term contract with Bledsoe once the season is over and match the offer with what he may want.
