Apple generally launches its new line of iPhones in September every year but this year it’s something else.
Apple has recently concluded its World Developers Conference during which it has launched an iOS update during the coronavirus pandemic. This will be Apple’s second virtual event amid the pandemic and it is anticipated that the company will launch an Apple Watch or an iPad.
Keeping all the anticipations aside, here’s what we can expect at tomorrow’s virtual event as per reports.
An Apple Watch
As per the invitations of Apple to its virtual event, the company mentioned ‘time flies’ which indicates the possibility of a new edition watch to be launched tomorrow.
Though there’s a prediction that the watch will be a 6th generation one, there have also been certain reports that the new low end models can also be launched in the imminent event.
Some other rumors suggest that considering the pandemic and the increased health consciousness among people, Apple might launch features in the new watch like long battery life and blood oxygen monitoring.
Health updates have become a key point in the watches lately. Last year Apple sold more than 31 million watches which is more than the entire Swiss watch industry in 2019.
A new iPad
Some reports are also suggesting that this time Apple is coming up with a new iPad or iPad Air on Tuesday.
Certain rumors are also spreading that Apple is introducing an edge to edge display in its new iPad version.
There are also expectations that Apple will be introducing low cost models of iPads this year.
If this is true, this will be the second iPad launch this year. The company has already unveiled an update to its iPad Pro in March this year.
Apple has sold around 500 million iPads to date and has remained the top selling product in a decade.
If Apple launched an iPad tomorrow, it will be a rival for Samsung’s newly released two tablets which were out last month. They are the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+.
Samsung claims that these tablets are the first to support 5G in the United States.
iPhone 12 with 5G
There are fueled rumors that Apple will launch the iPhone 12 too, however, certain reports were out that Apple will not launch any new iPhones until October this year.
Apple has also mentioned that its iPhones would ship slightly late than usual this year.

It is widely expected that Apple would release iPhone 12 with 5G possibilities this fall which would become the first iPhone to connect to the ultra-fast network.
Few analysts also expect that the 5G support to an iPhone will generate a supercycle of upgrades which will in turn prompt many users to buy it.
