There was a huge list of celebrities who lost their blue tick on Twitter. Celebs like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Mammootty, Kamal Haasan, Samantha, Ram Charan, Prakash Raj and many others lost their blue tick on Twitter for not paying the subscription fee. The new CEO of Twitter Elon Musk asked the celebs to pay the subscription fee to restore their blue tick.

As many refused to pay and they lost their blue ticks. Even those with millions of followers lost their verification status for not paying. On Sunday morning many celebs got their verification status (blue tick) back. Trisha announced earlier that she was unable to purchase the subscription as her Twitter name was changed to Kundhavai (PS2 character name). However, the actress got her tick back. Priyanka Chopra responded by getting back the Twitter blue tick, saying I am Priyanka again. While in other countries celebs are striking at Elon Musk. Stephen King asked Musk to give his $8 to charity, to which Elon Musk replied saying that he donated $100M to Ukraine.

As per media, Elon Musk has given some exceptions for the accounts that have more than 1M followers and that’s how celebs got their blue tick back.
