Arya's 'Varna' releases today, and the actor can't help but go gaga over his movie, which according to him, is anything unlike he has done previously.
From characterization to the script and even the locations, everything is novel about this film says the actor.
"During our Georgia schedule, we shot at Datlo, which is seven hours from Telavi — civilisation ends at this point. We had no electricity or hot water. We were all huddled together in a hut on location, braving the weather conditions of minus four degrees.”
Despite these difficulties, we had so much fun. The film took almost two years to complete; we don't prolong a film because we have no other job," says the actor, adding, "The film is about a guy who travels to another world for love, a story that I have not come across in any of the 'woods'."
Arya and Anushka's sizzling chemistry is the talking point of this film and Arya is all full of praises for his co-star.
"She (Anushka) had to learn sword-fighting and other things as part of her role. When you see a woman fight with a heavy sword, chances are, it might appear funny. But with Anushka, it's convincing.”
Actually, there's a fight sequence between the two of us, and I'm sure the audience will like it," he says .
Can't wait to see how the movie fares at the box-office?
