Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor was seen sporting a French beard when he left for the shooting of the second schedule of 'Bombay Velvet'. It would be interesting to know whether he will appear in a French beard in his upcoming film.
The film is being shot in Sri Lanka's Tissamaharama. So the cast of the film along with Karan Johar have been flying to the island country after every few months.
Apparently, Anurag Kashyap has created a setting for Bombay Velvet, in Tissamaharama. The film's setting is the Mumbai of the 60s.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. In the film, 'Bombay Velvet' is a jazz club where Anushka Sharma and Raveena Tandon will be filming their roles.
The island also has another intricately designed set , the New Roshan Talkies, one of the oldest movie theatres in Mumbai.
