Laal Singh Chaddha is the prestigious project of Aamir Khan and the top actor spent four years on the film. The film is the remake of Hollywood blockbuster film Forrest Gump and Aamir Khan transformed himself for the role. The film is directed by his close friend Advait Chandan and Kareena Kapoor played the leading lady. Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya played an important role in Laal Singh Chaddha which is jointly produced by Viacom 18 Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions. Aamir Khan charged Rs 50 crores as remuneration for the film and he also had 50 percent in the profit shares.
Laal Singh Chaddha ended up as one of the biggest flops in the career of the actor. Aamir Khan had to return back his remuneration of Rs 50 crores as the makers could not recover their investments. Instead of sharing the profits from the movie, Aamir Khan had to return back the paycheque. Laal Singh Chaddha was trolled and there were trends about boycotting the film. Aamir Khan urged the audience to watch the film in theatres but the film opened on a poor note and the negative word of mouth killed the film completely. Aamir Khan is yet to sign his next film and it would be announced next year.
